Man of Michigan Forwards Baby Food

Daniel Gerber was born in Fremont, Michigan in 1898. Daniel worked at his Fremont Canning Company and urged his father to begin canning baby foods.  By 1928, they were the second company to sell baby foods. Panelist Dies on TV Show

Jerome Irving Rodale was a health food enthusiast who was born in the late 1890’s. He was an early proponent of organic farming and sustainable agriculture.
