Faygo, which was established in Detroit in 1907 by two Russian immigrants, is a staple in Michigan.
Their original flavors were grape, fruit punch, and strawberry (later morphed into Red Pop, the holy grail of all Faygo.)
A book was written called “The Faygo Book” which has a pretty interesting story.

Fascinating info! I want to check this book out now, I’ve never heard of it before. I just love Faygo when I’m able to find it down here, that is 🙂
