Turnip Rock is a land formation that is only accessible by water, being it’s in Lake Huron.
The land surrounding the island is private, causing water to be the only way a tourist and approach the odd shaped land.
It looks like a turnip rising out of the water.
The tiny island has trees growing from the top, like the leaves of a turnip.
For some reason unknown to me, tandem kayaks are not allowed on the trail to see the island, only singular kayaks.
